Program areas at Traverse City Curling Club

The Club provided an introduction to the sport of Curling to the community and continues promoting the sport and league play. The Curling Club was able to host our first opening ceremony and our annual tournament, the cherry bombspiel, in our own venue in april. We welcomed hundreds of community members into our Club to see the facility, meet visiting olympic curlers and showcase the sport of Curling. Over 60 volunteers helped run these events. We also hosted our first 5-week spring league for adults in may and hosted many beginner curler classes for non-club members to try Curling to prepare more people to join the Club as members and league players in the next year.
