Loan and lending services - Trellis is a licensed mortgage bank in the state of Arizona and a u.s. department of housing and urban development (hud) approved secondary lender. Trellis originates and services first and second mortgage loans and down payment/closing cost assistance. Trellis develops and/or administers special mortgage programs designed to meet the credit needs of all borrowers, particularly low-to-moderate income borrowers. Loan terms may vary from conventional interest-bearing, fully-amortizing loans to fully-forgivable loans that subsidize home purchases.

Community building and engagement - to support small business and resident engagement, leadership, and participation in the revitalization of a local commercial corridor.

Homebuyer education, counseling and financial coaching - Trellis offers one-on-one and pre- and post-purchase housing counseling and financial coaching; homebuyer education onsite and online; and credit and money management workshops in both english and spanish. Trellis voluntarily adopted the national industry standards for homeownership and counseling which establishes standards for education and counseling services and sets agency training standards. Trellis has three housing counselors who meet the expanded dodd-frank hud counselor certification.

Other program services serve the following needs: -la ciudad - to own and manage the organization's corporate office building-trellis realty - to sell properties owned by Trellis, assist clients in selling and purchasing properties not owned by Trellis and list properties owned by the city of phoenix for sale to first time homebuyers.
