Prevention clinical: prevention services are designed to prevent and reduce child abuse and neglect. In addition, it is designed to reduce occurrences of juvenile deliquency.
Oasas residential substance abuse treatment center: operates the homer perkins center, a 20 bed substance abuse rehabilitation center that promotes a sober lifestyle. Approximately 54 individuals served during the year.
Snug is a new york state funded violence prevention and intervention program with four core functions: mediating conflicts, building community consensus that violence is not a norm, providing case management services to redirect individuals to more productive lifestyles and to treat victims of violence to heal them.
Other program services include transitional apartment, family support service, a food pantry, a family neighborhood and resource center, the race to 10,000 program, jail transition, substance use disorder services, settlement house, prevention case management, afterschool program, community heath worker services, foster case and a wellness advocates program funded by cdphp.
