School Endowment Fund -Contributions and earnings generated from investments within this fund are used to partner with Trinity Lutheran School providing assistance to school families wishing to send their children to the school but lack the financial means to afford full tuition. An independent organization analyzes applications for tuition assistance from both current and prospective school families. Needs-based assistance is provided to approved families through the school's Grant-in-Aid Program. Grants provided by the Foundation fill a portion of the tuition affordability gap for families that apply for and are approved for financial assistance through this program. Additionally, Foundation grants provide for the addition, modernization and replacement of technology, equipment and facilities needed by the school to maintain a state-of-the-art learning environment. Past funding has also provided for teacher training and parent workshops that sharpen parental skills that augment partnering with school faculty to help children develop into better students and responsible young Christians.
School Tuition Fund - Contributions and earnings generated from investments within this fund are used to provide financial support to all Trinity Lutheran School families. Following the spending policy in place, a Board-determined amount is made available on an annual basis to registered school families during the registration process. This assistance helps make Trinity Lutheran School a bit more affordable for all school families by cushioning the impact of annual increases to the cost of education passed along through higher tuition and fees.
T-Fund - Contributions and earnings generated within this fund are used to provide tuition assistance to school families that are also members of Trinity Lutheran Church. The fund was established by a church member as a way to show his gratitude to the church/school for providing assistance to his family when his children were attending Trinity Lutheran School.
General Foundation Fund - Contributions and earnings generated from investments within this fund are used to provide assistance for a variety of Board approved grant requests. Funding requests have covered grants to local schools to purchase supplies for needy families, ongoing support to local not-for-profit organizations within the community, and to cover the cost of financial acumen classes for individuals experiencing difficulty in managing their personal finances. Church Endowment Fund - Contributions and earnings generated from investments within this fund are used to provide assistance to the church for special needs beyond normal budgetary items such as special Covid-19 equipment and security enhancements. Prange-Mueller Endowment Fund - Contributions and earnings generated from investments within this fund are used to provide assistance to individuals wishing to go into church and ministry work. Assistance may be in the form of special training, tuition for college classes and seminary attendance among others. Other Dedicated Funds - represents miscellaneous small funds.
