Calument Center for Healing and Attachment: The mission is to provide women and children with a safe, nurturing environment where they can truly break the transgenerational cycle of trauma. The system of care includes but is not limited to residential living in a safe environment, coping skills, psychoeducation, family attachment sessions, art therapy, play therapy, relapse prevention therapy, clinical support services, spirituality, and trauma based therapy to include Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy. Troup Transformation is the Fiscal Agent for Calument Center for Healing and Attachment.
You Make the Difference: Troup Transformation, Inc. sponsors a TV show on WJCN called You Make the Difference (YMTD). YMTD is a 30 minute Christian interview style show. The president of Troup Transformation, Inc. is the host. She interviews Christian people in the community who have vision and are making a difference in the community. Guests interviewed represent government, business, education, family, culture, media, and the church.
LaGrange-Troup County Homeless Coalition (LTCHC) Warming Center: The Warming Center provides shelter for homeless individuals/families when the temperature is 37 degrees or below. The Center is open approximately 40 nights during the fall/winter season. The LTCHC raised money for a Coordinator position to provide case management for the homeless population in Troup County. The coalition entered into a contractual agreement with Action Ministries to provide housing/utilities/case management for 23 chronically homeless people with these funds. They housed and served 25 individuals. Troup Transformation, Inc. serves as the Fiscal Agent for the LTCHC.
