Children's miracle network: to provide the best care for kids, children's hospitals rely on donations and community support, as medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, children's miracle network hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $7 billion, most of it $1 at a time through miracle balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit's mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
The pajama/mitten Foundation donation was for the school children at martin luther king elementary, prek through kindergarten school (160 kids). Pajamas and mittens were donated, and the Foundation donated $500 to purchased mittens and pajamas for the school.
Turkey giveaway at new bethel baptist church the Foundation donated turkeys to people in the community who came up to the church to pick up the turkey. The turkeys were handed out in an impoverished area of Oklahoma city to help those in need during the november (thanksgiving) timeframe.
