Program areas at Truly Valued
The I AM Academy is dedicated to equipping students ages 10-18 with the essential skills to thrive as confident and successful adults. Through an innovative group mentoring program held on school campuses and at local community centers students are empowered through direct instruction experiential learning and trust-building activities. These experiences are designed to boost self- confidence and foster respect for others.
This series allows attendees to meet and talk with successful professionals from the community. The events provide valuable insights and inspiration for individuals especially students who are exploring career paths or seeking personal development. These events work hand in hand with our I AM Academy programs and have had a profound impact on our students.
The Nurturing Families Program is a family-centered initiative focused on preventing and reducing child abuse and neglect. This program invites parents with children from birth to 18 years old to participate in group-based sessions offering competency-based lessons that ensure parents learn and master essential skills.
