Turning Point exists to end domestic abuse, sexual assault and child abuse through safe shelter, advocacy, prevention and social change. Its core mission is to break the cycle of domestic abuse. Victims and their children are offered a safe haven in its shelter where they can begin to feel secure and take the necessary steps to build violence-free lives. The organization provides multiple services such as 24-hour hotlines, counseling, case planning, safety planning, legal advocacy, court accompaniment, life skills training and hospital accompaniment.
