Turpin Cares NFP provides help to the homeless and nearly homeless through free store events and starter kits. Weekly, outside a local church in Chicago, Turpin Cares offers personal and hygiene items to anybody in need, including toiletries, laundry detergent, and vitamins. For recently homeless people or families moving into an apartment, essential items are provided such as pots, pans, dishes, sheets and blankets. These items are donated by members of the community and several persons benefit from them.
