The mission of the Tuscarawas County Child Advocacy Center (cac) shall be to provide a timely, comprehensive and multi-disciplinary response to allegations of Child sexual abuse and severe physical Child abuse or neglect in a safe, agency-neutral, child-focused setting. The cac will facilitate investigations, provide support and services directly to children and families, medical and treatment referrals, and will assist with any consequent legal proceedings in order to protect and support the children it serves and their families. The cac will also coordinate education and prevention services.
