Twin Cities in Motion hosted 5 events in 2023 (which includes the medtronic Twin Cities marathon weekend) and served over 45,000 runners, including 6,205 youth who participated at no cost. Collectively, along with charity partners, tcm raised nearly 1.1 million dollars. in 2023, the organization canceled all sunday events during the medtronic Twin Cities marathon weekend due to extreme heat and dangerous conditions. The canceled races included the marathon and the 10 mile. Due to the cancellation, the organization was approved for a claim under their race-cancellation insurance for $2,045,146, which allowed the organization to provide refunds of registration payments to all racers.
