Twin Villages Downtown Alliance collaborates and coordinates across the public, private, and social sectors of the community to enhance sustainability in Damariscotta and Newcastle. In 2021, we improved communication with the local community and coordinated discussions related to changes within the towns. In 2022, we coordinated a Downtown capital improvement project for the community, repairing and improving the information bureau facility to benefit the general public.

Program areas at Twin Villages Downtown Alliance

In 2021 the Twin Villages Downtown Alliance worked to improve communication with the towns of damariscotta and newcastle and the members of the local community. We coordinated various discussions related to the changes within the towns of damariscotta and newcastle. We also helped to coordinate events within the Twin Villages including a map for cyclists visiting the Twin Villages.
In 2022 the Twin Villages Downtown Alliance coordinated a Downtown capital improvement project for the community. Volunteers worked to make improvements to the information bureau facility to repair and make improvements to benefit the general public.
