Program areas at Uc Press Foundation

As a part of its mission, Uc Press Foundation seeks four types of funding to support the publishing programs of Uc Press. They include: 1) major endowment and current use gifts to support specific publishing programs and initiatives; 2) title subsidies to partially underwrite the development and production of specific books; 3) annual gifts to build a donor/membership base for Uc Press; and 4) general operating grants. The Foundation maintains a membership program of approximately 80 members, and in fy 2022-23 supported approximately 177 Uc Press publications and the publishing program as a whole. Even with the pandemic and all the difficulties Foundation continued its work and raised funds.
