Program areas at UGF Institute

The UGF Institute provides an opportunity for students to gain experience in a broad range of business practices while providing value-added services to a variety of businesses, including the firms with which the Fund co-invests and the portfolio companies in which the Fund invests. Students gain a hands-on education in corporate finance and business operations. They also develop a greater awareness and appreciation of the importance of promoting economic development and community welfare through investing in small businesses. The Institute also provides scholarships and other experiential learning opportunities to support students participating in the program.
