Program areas at ARC Mid-Hudson Foundation
With COVID restrictions lifted, The Arc Mid-Hudson Foundation events returned to in-person. On February 20th, we had a Chili cook-off where local restaurants from Ulster County donated their chili for people to taste and vote on. This was part of the Ole Savanah's Winter Festival weekend. The Wine & Dine event was held in April 1st and was very successful. Approximately 77 attendees attended the event at Frank Guido's Little Italy in Kington, NY. Along with the live auction, there was money raised designated to the O+ Mural that was painted on Pecora Day-Hab building. On May 22nd, we held our Humanitarian Brunch at Ole' Savannah in Kingston. We continued to hold the brunch outside under a tent and seating was limited. We successfully had 129 attendees, and we honored 5 recipients. June 13th, we held our First Putnam Golf Tournament at Putnam Country Club. We ha 72 golfers, fisherman's raffle, buy a mulligan and awards ceremony. September 12, the annual Fall Golf Tournament event took place at Wiltwyck in Kingston, NY. All of the usual amenities were available to players, however there was no awards ceremony. Players were still able to enjoy a dinner served by the staff at staggered times. All of the holes on the golf course had a theme and volunteers. The tournament had 124 golfers. The final event of the year is the Holiday Auction that is held on November 18th. We moved the event to The Cornell Creative Arts Center and had local restaurants had food stations where they donated 1-2 types of appetizers. Ole Savannah provided beverages for the evening. We had 95 attendees, 12 vendors and 116 auction items and a wine pull. The 2022 Annual Appeal mailer, social media and enews went out to The Arc Mid-Hudson's donor list to support the Cornell Creative Arts Center programs and classes.
