Ensuring legal compliance and making sure that the homes, environments and services provided are not in vain. Therefore, all participants are subject to random drug testing, having their items searched and ultimately ensuring overall safety of the individuals, the household, the youth and all that come in contact with any individual that is utilizing our services. Also compliance with governmental regulations as we strive to provide the highest level of services in order to truly rehabilitate this population and reduce the overall homeless population while educating and encouraging our youth to learn from other's experiences in order to make healthy decisions and choose productive paths.
Provide housing to otherwise homeless individuals. Some come directly from the streets, others released from hospitalization, 5150 holds, from jail and/or from prison. Providing homes to a population that otherwise is typically homeless, and by providing beds to these individuals the homeless rate in the County is vastly reduced. In addition, those struggling with addiction are provided with a structured environment by which they can delve in to the underlying issues, whether it be dual diagnosis or trauma; as these are often the leading causes of substance abuse and criminal lifestyles. Our mission and service accomplishments is to not only educate on proper, mature ways of dealing and reacting but also ensuring that these individuals are housed and are not in a vulnerable situation to be continuous offenders, and instead rehabilitated to the point of being able to mentor our youth.
Many individuals have reunited with their families, children and parents, many have got off of parole, probation, utilizing our services, home of safety and structure, community referrals, have learned proper, healthy lifestyle habits, began working and have graduated from living communally to being productive members of society, as was our mission and goal! Furthermore, giving back to the youth by mentoring, we do feel this is very valuable work.
