Unbound Now

Survivor services-unbound Now provides 24/7 crisis response and ongoing case management and support for survivors of human trafficking. We work with lawenforcement, child protective services,, shelters, hospitals, pregnancy centers, rehab facilities, and other community service providers to ensuretrauma-responsive, victim-centered, trust-based advocacy for survivors of all ages and genders.unbound Now is endorsed by the communities we serve as an advocate agency for commercially sexually exploited youth. We serve as a member of the care coordination team in child sex trafficking cases. In 2023, our advocates served 833 survivors of sex and labor trafficking. (continued on schedule o)

Youth prevention-unbound Now works to educate and empower youth, spread awareness through city-wide outreaches and provide human trafficking presentations to groups and organizations. We partner with schools and other youth organizations to empower students to stay safe from trafficking and exploitation through assembly and classroom presentations. Our keeping students safe curriculum satisfies the house bill 111 mandate for public and charter schools. Multi-week prevention groups also provide our trained facilitators the opportunity to go deeper with vulnerable youth through practical exercises and relational investment. In 2023, 15,916 youth received the critical information needed to keep themselves and peers safe from traffickers by our prevention staff. We also provided individualized early intervention services for youth at risk of exploitation.

Outreach and professional training-unbound Now provides leadership and coordination for three regional multidisciplinary human trafficking task forces in Texas. In 2023, we facilitated quarterly meetings of members, including law enforcement, service providers, elected officials, and other community agencies. We alsoorganize and lead four subcommittees to meet coalition goals and provide regular training on trauma-informed care and types of trafficking so all members can better respond to human trafficking in their unique roles. Unbound Now provides training to equip all professionals to use their skills to identify and serve victims of human trafficking. (continued on schedule o)
