Program areas at Unitas
Prevention education program - our comprehensive and inclusive, survivor-informed prevention education curriculum called "lights" has been developed with experts & survivors alike and is being used to educate 11-18 year olds about trafficking & exploitation and how to avoid it, in order to prevent it.
Survivor care - provide opportunities for survivors to thrive. In 2021, the taxpayer successfully piloted a new therapeutic intensive program for survivors of trafficking.
Human trafficking awareness program - our educational digital comics raise awareness of us domestic trafficking & exploitation and have been shared and viewed tens of thousands of times via social media. Our events and social media help thousands of people better understand what human trafficking is and how it effects our communities.
