Program areas at Unite for Colorado
Public education, research, and analysis. Research and analyze policies that promote the economy, job growth, and fair and reasonable business regulations as well as policies that damage the economy, job growth and unreasonable or unnecessary business regulations. Generate broad public support for policies that promote the economy, job growth, and fair and reasonable business regulations through public education that includes articles, white papers, advertisements, public forums and direct communications. Provide additional support for these program services through grants to aligned non-profit organizations that are restricted to program activities that align with Unite for Colorado's primary purpose.
Contributions to independent expenditure committees that support candidates who promote the economy, job growth, and fair and reasonable business regulations or oppose candidates who support policies that damage the economy, job growth and unreasonable or unnecessary business regulations. This secondary purpose program was limited and represented a minority portion of Unite for Colorado's total expenditures.
Advocacy. Directly support policies that promote the economy, job growth, and fair and reasonable business regulations through state and local ballot measures, legislation, and regulatory amendments. Provide additional support for these program services through grants to aligned nonprofit organizations that are restricted to program activities that align with Unite for Colorado's primary purpose.
