Homeless shelter - the organization provides emergency, homeless shelter, and services for women and children. The shepherd's cove homeless shelter for women and children in prince george's county, Maryland, serves approximately 400 to 500 individuals every year. Housing services - this program is a housing urban development (hud) certified bi-lingual housing counseling program. The program provides homeowners with alternatives to help them prevent foreclosure. They help borrowers understand the importance of timely mortgage payments and to recognize the warning signs of mortgage delinquency. This program provides mortgage modification while offering counseling in both groups and one-on-one sessions. The first-time homebuyers program assists with the preparation of buying and maintaining a home. The organization provides wealth building instruction in budgeting, credit, and financial planning as well as information on lenders, mortgage affordability, and types of financing.emergency food pantry services - the organization operates an emergency food pantry providing basic healthy food options to residents of prince george's county, maryland.family stabilization - assists formerly homeless families and individuals by providing long-term case management access to ensure linkages to resources and services to sustain their stability.senior services - provides safety net, social and rehabilitative programming for low-income seniors.
