Program areas at United Humanitarian Foundation
Humanitarian and Disaster Relief: The Organization built permanent homes for the homeless and neediest displaced families living in Bajil, Hodeidah in Yemen, the worlds worst and largest humanitarian crisis. Torrential rains, flooding, and conflict have stripped hundreds of people from their shelters, which is a basic humanitarian necessity. Many were currently living in shacks made out of straw and cardboard leaving them exposed to harsh weather conditions without safety and security. Organization has constructed 30 solid brick homes and has begun operations to construct 75 more brick homes in the region.Other projects supported and funded have included the distribution of blankets and mattresses for the refugees and displaced families, educational supplies and books, clothing and shoes for orphans, and Udhiya/Qurbani meat to those in most need.
Charity Bakery, Water and Food Baskets: The Organizations top priority is providing immediate food assistance, water and relief aid to those affected in the worlds worst humanitarian crisis. Organization has supported an ongoing free bakery, providing bread, feeding over 3000 people a day. Over 30 million people or 80% of the population need urgent humanitarian food aid and relief. Water tanks that are dispersed in refugee and displaced camps are filled 3 times a week. The distribution of food baskets and food boxes for families are also a priority to help struggling families who are in dire need of food assistance.
