41st annual thanksgiving arts & crafts show, brewer - november 27, 28 & 29 - this year 57 of our members displayed and sold their wares to approximately 2,600 customers, an increase in attendance from the prior years. All proceeds from donated concessions were contributed to "neighbors supporting neighbors" food pantry. As with all events, the exhibitors range from professional artisans who make their living selling their products, to home based hobbyists who want to sell their wares. Many of our members donate their products to an hourly gift drawing in an effort to get some additional exposure, and the customers love it. The organization contracts a show director, but relies on volunteers to help with the layout, and distribution of marketing materials.
27th annual bangor arts & crafts show - nov 7 & 8, 2015 - this show is very popular in the bangor area and has grown by 35% in just 3 years. This show had 116 exhibitors, and drew over 3,200 customers. The customers loved interacting with our partner, the good shepherd food pantry. As with all of our events, the exhibitors range from professional artisans who make their living selling their products, to home based hobbyists who want to sell their wares. The organization contracts a show director, but relies on volunteers to help with the layout and distribution of marketing materials.
34th annual augusta arts & crafts show - nov 15-16 - this event, at the beginning of the holiday season, have been going strong since 1981. This year 132 of our members displayed and sold their wares to approximately 3,500 customers. Half price tickets were offered with donations of food to the good shepherd food pantry. As with all events, the exhibitors range from professional artisans who make their living selling their products, to home based hobbyists who want to sell their wares. The organization held other shows across the state in 2015. There were over 300 exhibitors at these shows and over 10,000 customers in attendance.
