Therapeutic group homes - in 2021, Methodist Children's home operated therapeutic group homes for boys and girls. The Children are given academic support, preparation for living independently, therapeutic and psychiatric support, spiritual guidance, life skills training and recreational opportunities. This program is specifically designed for young men and women ages 15 to 21. The goal is to ease the transition from high school to college or to the workforce by providing instruction in budgeting, household management and job skills so they can live independently as responsible adults. Also a campus based wellness program emphasizing general fitness activities and nutrition.
Community counseling services - provides the community with dedicated professionals who counsel individuals, Families, couples, and groups. Therapists work with ages 3 to 21 years old who experience an array of mental health symptoms.
Therapeutic foster care - Methodist Children's home offers therapeutic foster homes that are licensed and certified homes to care for Children with physical, emotional, or behavioral difficulties. This program is an intensive mental health service provided to a child in a family setting utilizing specialty trained foster parents. The foster care staff provide training, support, and resources to each family through out the fostering process for Children from birth to 21 years old.
