Airport center - provides a lounge area at the San Diego airport for military personnel entering or departing the San Diego area. This facility provides amenities such as furnishings for relaxation, beverages, snacks, telelvision, games, internet and entertainment. Military personnel and recruits are provided assistance with general, transportation and travel questions and are provided support for their transfer in or out of the area for all branches of the Service. This facility serves 116,000 or more active military personnel annually and is staffed by over 150 volunteers who log over 25,000 volunteer hours.

The Uso San Diego provides numerous events for military personnel and their families to gather by providing furnishings for relaxation, beverages, snacks, television, gaming, internet and entertainment which events also provide Service members and their families with resilency programming that are created in support of our our four pillars of Service: unites, transitions, delivers and entertains. The various meeting and mobile facilities hosting these special events and programs, holiday events and weekly events such as meal delivery programs, food panties, comedy shows and family resilliance programs that provide a morale boost and show support to the active duty community and their families. These events serve more than 100,000 active military personnel and their families annually and are staffed by 2,623 volunteers who log 35,731 volunteer hours.
