Program areas at United States Soccer Foundation

The Foundation views Soccer as a powerful vehicle for social change. By supporting the development of places to play, places to grow, and places to learn, our goal is to ensure that children in underserved communities have easy and affordable access to quality Soccer programs that support their physical and personal development.
Public advocacy - the Foundation's advocacy efforts focus on using sport as a vehicle to promote youth development, health and wellness, and positive social change. This includes combating childhood obesity, preventing youth delinquency, and providing youth with safe and accessible places to play - a critical need particularly in underserved communities.
Public awareness: to foster public interest and enthusiasm for Soccer as a sport and as a vehicle for youth development and social change.
