Program areas at United Voices for Newcomer Rights
Uvnr's funds are spent to support 6 key program areas: the refugee and immigrant well-being project, Newcomer mentoring/pathways navigation, youth empowerment, interpretation and translation, tea circles, and community responsiveness to newcomers/systems change. Each of these programs support newcomers by connecting them with culturally and linguistically appropriate resources, support, advocacy, case management services, and educational opportunities with the aim to better newcomers' mental health and overall wellbeing.
