Great start to quality resource center supports quality improvements across child care and early education programs and assists families in finding child care in the 10 county region. The resource center supported 355 licensed early childhood providers. Support included application and reporting for the spring 22 stabilization grants where 194 providers were awarded $7,200,000. In addition, 101 professional development events for providers and parents were held with 906 participants. We supported 45 families seeking child care and 43 providers looking to open new or expand existing licenses. We saw increased interest in our lending library due to the expanded location and easier access.

Support trishare, an employer based benefit program that splits the cost of licensed child care between the employer, employee, and the state of Michigan. Saved 45 families approximately $98,000 in childcare costs, paid 35 providers approx $146,500 on time payments.

United we smile - a non profit dental clinic serving children, veterans, pregnant woman and those with developmental and cognitive issues.
