Funding for 2-1-1 helped to connect over 63,000 Sonoma County callers and texters with information about health and human services available to them. Funding for the new 2-1-1 Mendocino platform helped staff the 2-1-1 Steering Committee, launch a new website, update the database, and serve 680 residents. 2-1-1 Humboldt funding provided organizational capacity support to help maintain 24/7 information and referral services for this rural community.
Funding for the Earn It! Keep It! Save It! free tax assistance program enabled 17 nonprofit agencies to provide tax filing services to 5,400+ low-to-moderate income individuals and families resulting in over $8.2 million in tax refunds and credits to residents in Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake and Humboldt counties.
