Program areas at University Film and Video Association
The Carole Fielding Student Film and Video Production Grants are funded by membership dues and member donations. Recipients are selected each year by committee from a pool of student applications. Each application includes a budget indicating what portion of the total project will be supported by the grant.
The annual conference of the University Film and Video Association is held in late July or early August at a member college or university. The conference features papers, panels, screenings, workshops, and exhibitions related to scholarship in film, video, and new media, and includes underwriting registration and housing for six graduate students selected for the Graduate Fellows program.
The Journal of Film and Video is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal focused on the study of film, television, and related arts. It is published quarterly.
