Program areas at University of Florida / Madison County 4-H Association

Madison County 4-H Association strives to help young people and their families. The autism support kids (a.s.k.) Club has been a leader in educating the County about autism. The club raises money through walk-a-thons and art exibits painted by the autistic children. The money is then used to fund a buddy camp for these children so that they can experience the 4-H camp setting. The fundraising activities are substantially related to our mission. Of our exempt purpose.
The third 4-H club is our teen leadership/ County council. The children have fundraisers and use the funds to attend 4-H university each year. They experience the university of Florida campus in person and up close. They meet other students from around Florida and also learn about career possibilities.
The second 4-H club is our saddles and spurs club. The children learn equine handling skills and care. The children raise money for trips and camp.
