Program areas at University of Oregon Alumni Association
Engagement services provides additional member engagement opportunities through a variety of events to generate uoaa memberships and develop new engagement and fundraising opportunities which contributes to and enhances the University of Oregon's donor base. Engagement activities further experiences which link students, Alumni and donors to both the uoaa and the University of Oregon. These efforts contribute to furthering relationships and engagements opportunities in support of the uoaa goals and mission. Engagement activities are used as a backdrop to further cultivation and stewardship efforts for our constituent base.
the University of Oregon Alumni Association has a dues based membership program. the most significant revenue source is generated by three types of memberships (life, annual, & student). Membership expenses are based on marketing and advertising strategies which include mass mailing, direct phone and in person solicitations, member appreciation activities and University of Oregon partnerships.
Alumni groups and constituency engagement continued to provide support and engagement opportunities through a variety of events and sponsorships held locally and across the us as well as internationally to generate uoaa memebership and raise scholarship dollars which in turn furthers the uoaa's purpose.
All other programs include the indirect costs to operate the Association as well as business development. Costs include student wages, legal, general supplies & operating, staff recruitment, taxes & insurance, telephones, office space lease, postage and shipping, office meetings, bank fees, admin fees, gift fees and board meeting expenses.
