The levine president's awards provide academic scholarships to students in each of the hsc's schools/colleges based on awarding decisions made by the hsc scholarship committee. At the instruction of the president, these awards are to be divided equally to support students in the Texas college of osteopathic medicine, graduate school of biomedical sciences, school of public health, school of health professions (physician assistants and physician therapists), and college of pharmacy. The endowment supporting these awards was received through an insurance policy with instructions to be used at the discretion of the hsc president.
