Program areas at Upper St Clair Band Parents Association
Cost of travel for marching band members, other instrumentalists and required faclty to attend national competitions, parades, and festivals. In addition, the cost of educational sessions (seminars, classes, museum entrance fees, event tickets, ect.) in locations where the band travels.
Band Festival activities including scheduling and securing a venue. The Upper St. Clair High School Marching Band, other high school marching bands and invited university marching bands perform for each other and the community. In addition, alumni are invited to perform and interact with current marching band members in alternating years. Students, parents, educators and community members as well as prospective marching band members are invited to attend.
Student recognition activities including recognition dinners, awards (plaques, pins, school letters and certificates), book awards (if granted), senior student biographies and student leader information in school publications, senior recognition night flowers and photos, and senior student banners.
