Upstream International

When we look back at everything god allowed us to be a part of this year, we are blown away by his faithfulness and your generosity toward Upstream. The people we serve daily rely on the provision of god through his people. Upstream shows up because of you.in cite soleil, we educated and provided medical care and meals to 340 students at cscs with 100% of our students passing their national and state exams. Upstream also filled 75 backpacks with school supplies for our students as well as providing 100 school uniforms to students in need. A new computer lab with 25 laptops was installed at the school and the foundation for the future kitchen/bath/septic system upgrade was completed.we continued our community outreach efforts, providing over 500,000 meals in cite soleil and providing 1,000,000 gallons of water. We also cleaned 4 canals and repaired 1 bridge.our better than bullets program supported 50 students who trained 3 days a week with 4 instructors this year. Upstream sponsored a 200-student tournament & we also became officially accredited by the haiti federation of karate.upstream also re-opened its sandout peace initiative which provided a 30-day, 30-team tournament in cit soleil, leaving the community filled with peace, excitement, and an eagerness to see who wins the champion's trophy next time!we also helped plant 7 new churches in 2023 and continue support 62 pastors and 114 missionaries in haiti leading 2970 people to know jesus and even more who were restored to the church. We also formed a new partnership with the hands and feet project to further our efforts of spreading the gospel in haiti.
