Continued to build our tobacco free coalition of Oregon with capacity building guidance from the center for black Health and equity through policy and advocacy. Launched a youth ambassador program for african immigrant youth empowerment. Conducted training on advocacy, media, career development, and Public Health, among other topics. Hosted two training sessions with jump at the sun consultants to guide us in how to engage retailers in our communities as partners in commercial tobacco prevention.launched two community member coalitions - one spanish speaking and one english - in lane county to talk about the impacts of sugary drinks in their community. Continued to co-facilitate the achieve coalition in partnership with multnomah county Public healths reach program.conducted english and spanish outreach in central Oregon to talk about healthy retail in convenience stores.helped clackamas county Public Health get ready for a healthy retail pilot program.
