Program areas at Urban Neighborhood Initiatives

245 youth participated in the summer employment experience. Youth earned over $364,598.37 during Summer Youth Employment. 93% of youth report feeling empowered to partipate in UNI programs long-term. 7 community partners & businesses placements partnered to provide young people hans-on work experience. Our out-of-school time programs were in implemented at 7 schools. Southwest Food Cultivators (SWFC) helped to host the Healthy Body Workshop series, which allowed the community to participate in numerous activities, including tips & tricks on gardening, access to healthy food & engagement with community resources. They hosted cooking workshops.
