Preservation education includes the development of materials that teach the importance of history around the themes of people and place. This program is where our coloring pages and kids activity books are developed. This is also the place where we design graphics with definitions of important concepts in history like the civil rights act, redlining, urgan revewal, etc. For print and to be posted on social Media.

Preservation consultation services are services we provide include historic preservation and cemetery conservation work. We write national register of historic places nominations, complete historic tax credit applications, offer podcasting services, and offer speaker services (presentations). Expenses for this program revolve around printing costs for rfps/rfqs and final printed products not included in the project budget.

Urban roots podcast - we produce the urban roots, a podcast that tells little known stories from urban history. This is a national public history program that serves a wide-range of audiences in a variety of geographic locations. Urbanist Media produces and distributes the podcast; and we also develop the marketing (social Media and blog content that goes with it). Urbanist Media's role in the podcast also involves seeking out and applying for grant funding to pay the hosts and editors.
