The US-China Clean Energy Forum CEF focused most of its attention in 2018 to continuing its support of the US-China Clean Energy Research Center CERC. CERC is the official bilateral energy cooperation program for US and China. Its five consortia focus on efficient buildings, cleaner coal, electric vehicles, the energy-water nexus and big trucks.
