The organization uses various conventions, auctions, and promotional activities in order to further its mission of promoting the harvesting industry and enhancing relationships between members and others in the industry.
Conventions are used to promote and advance the members' relations with each other, customers, employees, suppliers, governmental entities, and other farm organizations; the conventions are attended by approximately 300 members and 125 associate members.
The organization publishes a monthly newsletter and annual directory to alert members of applicable current events affecting their industry. Approximately 650 newsletters are mailed each month.
