Program areas at US Global Leadership Campaign
National Programs: In conjunction with its diverse membership of businesses and NGOs, the Campaign is working to advocate for a strong and effective U.S. International Affairs Budget. In 2023, the Campaign continuously delivered its message to Capitol Hill and worked to build new bipartisan champions in the U.S. Congress. In addition, the Campaign brought unique voices to Capitol Hill from the military, business, academic, faith and non-profit communities to show the breadth and depth of support for these issues.
Field Program: The Campaign is working across the country to build a domestic constituency for foreign assistance and to educate Members of Congress on the support for these issues in their home districts. Throughout the year, the Campaign's state activists met with Members of Congress and their staff in-state, responded to action alerts, and called or wrote their Members of Congress. Many activists also traveled to Washington, DC for the Campaign's annual conference and met with their representative in their national office.
Public Education: The Campaign's website is a dynamic and up-to-date resource for Campaign members and policymakers to find the latest information and analysis on the U.S. International Affairs Budget. As a complement to the website, the Campaign uses social and digital media platforms to reach its varied and growing constituency. In addition, as a component of its public outreach, the Campaign releases timely Budget Updates on key messages and happenings of the U.S. International Affairs Budget.
