Test and scale solutions for women's work in the private sector (india):as part of this project, Us gbl has directly impacted 161,582 workers through the inache and stitch tools, and indirectly impacted more that 750,000 workers in india. Inache is a two-way communication tool that facilitates worker voice while maintaining the anonymity of the worker. Workers can raise their concerns, queries, and suggestions over an inache number, which will be raised to the inache platform as a case, while stitch platform enables the creation and conduction of surveys, tests, questionnaires, etc. Through an easy-to-use application. See schedule o for additional information.additionally, as a part of this grant, Us gbl is also running research studies that focus on decentralizing production and promotion of financial inclusion of workers. While all of the research projects covered under the grant are still underway, Us gbl is committed to reaching out to 2,000 female workers as part of the pilots.

Provide comprehensive migration assistance and job preparedness through counseling to improve the transition of rural women to urban employment settings2. Increase employment rates and job retention among rural women by addressing barriers such as early marriage, mobility restrictions, and lack of formal work preparedness3. Through successful migration and employment, enhance the economic and social well-being of women, impacting their autonomy, decision-making power, and mental healthaccomplishments:1. Delivered targeted interventions at available centers, reaching a total of 340 women with baseline and migration interventions2. Successfully completed baseline surveys for 340 respondents, midline surveys for 228 respondents, and endline surveys for 134 respondentsspecific measurements:1. The intervention has engaged numerous participants in surveys to assess changes in employment status, social well-being, and economic stability, albeit with revised numbers due to project adjustments.2. Continued to use a randomized controlled trial methodology to rigorously assess the causal impacts of the interventionlong-term goals:1. Plans to expand the program based on proven efficacy, aiming to influence broader policy changes that support rural women's employment across different regions2. Encourage the adoption of supportive employment practices by partner firms and government bodies, promoting long-term employment and social integration of rural women in urban settings
Using ai to expand the job search of displaced workers in the aftermath of the covid-19 crisis (us)see schedule o for more detailed information.project objectives:1. Address search frictions like discrimination and imperfect information to enhance job search activities2. Evaluate the impact of algorithmic recommendations on job search behaviors, focusing on the transferability of skills across sectors3. Assist in the labor reallocation necessary post-economic downturns, aiding in employment recovery4. Test different types of search advice to understand their effects on job search behaviors and employment outcomesaccomplishments:1. Developed and implemented an ai-assisted algorithm designed to match job seekers with suitable job vacancies based on a comprehensive analysis of their personalities and skills2. Successfully engaged 1,213 participants, providing them with tailored job search assistance and capturing detailed data on their job search behaviors and outcomes3. Demonstrated through preliminary results that participants using both ai and preference scores spent fewer hours searching for jobs and had higher employment rates compared to control groupsspecific measurements:1. Conducted a 12-module survey to create "preference scores and "ai scores" for job vacancies, facilitating more targeted job searches2. Recorded significant decreases in job search time and an increase in employment probability among participants using the developed platformlong-term goals:1. To influence policy by providing empirical evidence on the effectiveness of ai-enhanced job search tools2. To extend the platform's capabilities nationally, promoting broader employment opportunities and reducing labor market frictions
