Program areas at Utah Youth Symphony Orchestra Association

Utah Youth Symphony (formerly Utah Youth orchestras and ensembles) had a thriving program in fiscal year 2023. We had 193 participants in three orchestras. Students performed a total of four concerts for thousands of audience members. The Utah Youth philharmonic and the Utah Youth symphonye performed concerts of mendelssohn and coleridge-taylor in libby gardner hall on the university of Utah campus and the salt lake tabernacle, respectively.. The Utah Youth junior Symphony held a concert in the fine arts west auditorium on the university of Utah campus. The three orchestras combined in the spring for a concert of rimsky-korsakov's scheherezade and capriccio espanol.
