Program areas at Valley Senior Living Foundation
We identified a need to enhance the outdoor living space at Tufte Manor . Proceeds from a Myra Foundation grant were utilized for these projects. The project funds were used for landscaping and patio.
We identified a need for spiritual care when the first Valley Senior Living facility opened 100 years ago. We believe spiritual care is important in the lives of our residents. These funds were used to help continue the chaplaincy program for all residents, family and staff. Valley Senior Living employee two full-time chaplains and also has two flex chaplains.
We identified a need to replace commercial over at Tufte Manor. Proceeds from the Walter and Barbara Pedersen Lutheran Foundation to purchase the oven.
Other program services included funding a number of items and programs that enhance the quality of life for the residents. Records are maintained to track designation of use by donor for a specific facility and/or program.
