Program areas at Valley Spokesmen Bicycle Club
The Valley Spokesmen hosted the 39th annual cinderella classic & challenge which is a "women only" single day cycling event offering 65 and 95 mile options. The cinderella classic has become what is arguably the premier "women's only" cycling event in the country promoting the sport of cycling to women of all ages. This is a totally "supported" ride with fully stocked nutrition and hydration rest stops, roving sag support and post ride banquet. A sizeable portion the registration fees are distributed to support local women's non-profit organizations. The 2015 cinderella classic and challenge drew over 2,200 registrants representing twelve states and over 250 cities. The expo featured 40+ exhibitors. It took over 170 volunteers to support this successful event.
The following long distance rides were conducted:sunol to paso robles - 20+ riderstour of the sacramento river delta - 200+ riders
Valley Spokesmen racing team hosted the annual wente classic road race. This is a road race in the hills of livermore. The road race drew over 600 racers.
