Vamos Outdoors Project builds community by connecting people to the land and providing access to the outdoors. They developed a career pathway program, enabling Latine and Migrant young adults to enter education and nonprofit career pathways while earning college credit. The Bellingham school district funded their Summer migrant program, which served 45 students.

Program areas at Vamos Outdoors Project

Vamos provided after school Club de Lectura to participants in three Title 1 schools and three low income community sites.
The Summer migrant program for Lynden school district served 80 students, funded by the school district and OSPI.
Vamos provided an outdoor and academic summer program for students from migrant farmworker families and students recently arrived to the United States in partnership with Bellingham Public Schools.
Vamos ran a variety of outdoor programs for Latine, Migrant, and Multilingual youth in 2023.
