"The Vancouver Downtown Association (VDA) achieved significant success in three key program areas this calendar year. The expanded Clean & Safe Program has enhanced downtown cleanliness and safety. VDA launched new business retention efforts through direct grants, offering crucial financial support to local businesses and fostering economic resiliency. Additionally, the VDA moved forward with a variety of placemaking projects like the Main Street Promise infrastructure project which will revitalize the downtown streetscape to create a more pedestrian-friendly and vibrant community center."
