4 part series that helped diverse candidates prepare to interview with venture capital firms and increase the amount of diverse investorsCo-working sessions - Help numerous coworking sessions in different cities that helped connect founders and VCs.Pitch Competition - Help a national pitch competition for Latine founders with one $50k winner (LeadSales)Hispanic Heritage Month Celebrations - Held Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations across 8 different cities. Invited allies, media, VCs, and founders to educate the industry on our culture and celebrate our community. Hispanic Heritage Keynotes - Held a founder and VC keynote speech. Each speech helped connect our community with industry leaders in an open environment to ask questions and help with mentorship. LP GP Series - Created a series in which we invited one LP to connect with Latine GPs. The sessions were private to create an environment of trust and allow GPs to ask any questions to an LP. This is to lower the barrier of information for emerging fund managers and connect them with future investors.LBAN Series - Help many events in coordinate with Latino Business Action Network out of Stanford. Newsletters - Delivered bi-weekly newsletters to our community highlighting the accomplishments of our members, any open positions, and industry news. Intersectional chats - Held events at the intersectionality of LGBTQ+, Black, Native American, and Asian American and our Latine community. We do this to help foster inclusion of our community as we understand are members are diverse.
