Veggie Rescue improves the nutrition and quality of life for struggling community members by providing them with healthy, local produce and high-quality prepared food. They work with farmers and local businesses to rescue 640,000 pounds of fresh produce and nutritious food from 83 donors throughout Santa Barbara County in 2022. The rescued food is delivered daily to a wide range of nonprofit organizations feeding vulnerable populations; 48% of the rescued food goes to those in need.
