Program areas at Ventura County Medical Association
Traditionally six to nine educational program workshops are provided each year to physician members and their staff to meet the need for continual updates to the Medical practice mandates regarding hipaa, osha, Medical insurance coding, medicare, labor laws, health information technology, and risk management as it relates to patient services.
Provide education speakers to address Medical practice compliance issues at each dinner meeting for members.
Provide education to physicians regarding availability of uncompensated care revenues, keep physicians informed about public health policies, pandemic mandates and funding opportunities.
