Verdugo Hills Hospital Medical Staff

Verdugo Hills Hospital Medical Staff is a membership organizaton that exists to work toward the goal that all patients admitted to the Hospital or treated in the outpatient departments receive treatment commensurate with the high standards of the Medical profession; to provide a means whereby issues concerning the Medical Staff and the Hospital may be discussed by the Medical Staff with the governing body and the ceo of the Hospital; to initiate and maintain rules and regulations for self-governance of the Medical Staff; to provide education and to maintain high educational standards; to support and assist in programs associated with community health needs; and to initiate and maintain rules and regulations for self-governance of the Medical Staff, to carry out its responsibility for the quality of the professional services provided by individuals with clinical privileges, as well as the responsibility of accounting to the governing body.
